Explore the hidden local attractions of Thailand with me in this blog where I'll take you guys to Ayutthaya and Suphanburi province. Here are going to explore a cafe by the paddy rice field, sightseeing temples and enjoy local Thai food. Watch to video for more.
Recommended Transportation for this tour: Since all the three locations in this video are near to each other, I recommend that you rent a taxi/van for whole day (Price range: 2500 - 4000 THB for the whole trip). And yeah, travel in a group. The more people you have the less you get to spend for each.
Google Map locations of the places I've been to:
Location 1: Saphan Khong Floating Market
Suphan Buri adds to its plethora of tourist attractions with the opening of the Saphan Khong Floating Market, a new landmark in Ban Ton Tan Subdistrict of Song Phi Nong District. Visitors can walk along the wooden bridge that connects Ban Tontan Handicraft Centre to Thong Pradit Temple.
A large bamboo tower stands in the middle of the market and is said to be the largest in the world. It was built from bamboo by the villagers and offers a 360-degree-view of the surrounding area.
The market is open daily and bargains are up for grabs over the weekends and bank holidays. Source: Nation Thailand
Location 2: Rak Na, Ayutthaya
If you love paddy rice fields and cafe exploration, this cafe is highly recommended. They have different sets of photo taking spot and they all are super Instrammable.
Here is a photo of giant swing in Rak Na cafe.
Location 3: Amina Tonglong, Ayutthaya
Try out their beef chicken noodle. They also offer traditional Thai roti and pretty much all the Thai food you could think of. Food here is very cheap and the staffs are friendly too.
Their signature beef noodle.
